Peter Johnson, founder and head inspector at DPW Home Inspections, Inc. is a born and bred New Englander experienced in the building, remodeling and inspecting of New England homes for over 35 years. He began building houses while in high school and continued during his college education in Boston. This background has given him the hands-on training to know exactly what issues are present within homes, their cause and the best method to mitigate these issues.
Additionally, Peter owns a sister company, Dudley Pond Woodworking, which specializes in custom kitchen and bath remodeling. His diverse skillset as a licensed builder, expert carpenter, and cabinet maker is a unique benefit to providing quality home inspections for Metro West residents. Peter brings three decades of knowledge to each personalized home inspection experience and enjoys assisting others in making the best decision for their homes.
Peter is fully licensed and board-certified through the State of Massachusetts, and he performs each home inspection under the strict regulations and policies outlined in their Standards of Practice. He also maintains an ongoing membership with the nation’s most respected professional association for home inspectors, the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and uses their authoritative Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics to ensure each unbiased home inspection is conducted to the highest level of excellence in the industry.
